Dr. Jon Ruthven spent his entire adult life in ministry, starting with David Wilkerson in Boston and New York City in the mid 60s. After spending a dozen years pastoring (or learning how), a couple a years as a missionary in Africa as the head of Bible school, he ended up teaching theology in seminary for 18 years. Always interested in training and discipling, even early on in his ministry, Jon has worked with Randy Clark and Tom Jones to develop a radically biblical approach to ministry training with the intention of training up people who can hear the voice of God and obey it, expressing the Kingdom of God in power. Also an author, Jon has three published works, among them are the Cessation of the Charismata and What's Wrong with Protestant Theology? All of these works serve to provide a Biblical grounding for a strong, practical charismatic ministry of healing and signs and wonders in the power of the Spirit.
